I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.
Personal:
I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

I ran Grandeur Peak hard today. 51:45 up, 34:37 down. Felt good.
PM:Just some easy plodding around the Lower Loop. Legs not sore, but heavy.
PM: 4 easy around the neighborhood.
PM: 7 mile journey around Sugar House Park.
PM: 6 miles of cross training on a machine. 1 mile walk...
Attended Andy's last Fall Ball game. Should be called winter ball. He got a trophy for "Best Glove in the Field".
PM: 2 mile walk.
AM: 9.5 miles on the Pipeline Trail. Beautiful morning. Going to see First Man now because I want to see it and because a lot of Trump supporters are boycotting it because it doesn't have enough flags.
