I had some success in high school and college.
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun, not get fat, stay fit.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running in some fashion.
I teach AP U.S. History and other courses at Alta High School. I also coach the track and cross country teams at Alta.

Travel day - no running.
AM: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups
PM: 5.5 easy miles around the neighborhood then some jump roping which people should do more of. Watched the Jazz win and had Thanksgiving dinner.
10 dark miles on the Pipeline Trail. Nice.
8 miles on Parley's Trail. Andy joined me on his bike which meant I had to push him on the uphills. He needs to get stronger.
AM: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups.
PM: No run. Feeling a little achy. Going to the Jazz game with Andy.
AM:6 miles plus some weights and jumping rope.
PM: 2 mile walk. Continued plowing through Ron Chernow's Grant
My hips hurt.
