I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

1. 6.25 miles on the elliptical.

2. Rode 10 miles on the stationary bike in 31 minutes. That was moderately hard.

AM:

1. 5.25 miles on the helix

2. 2,000 meters on the rower

3. 10 miles in 30:57 minutes on the stationary bike

4. 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups

PM: Walked 4 miles around the neighborhood

Went to the doctor today and had my knees x-rayed. I have a grade 2 MCL sprain and a slight MCL tear. No surgery required. Just a fair amount of time and rehab at my age.

It was good to see that I have no sign of arthritis and plenty of cartilage in my knees. Should have many years of happy running once the ligament heals.

Watched Donald Trump's remarks at CPAC today. You can tell he loves America because he actually hugged the flag on stage. Such a shame those bone spurs kept him out of Vietnam.
