Region 3 cross country championships today at Cottonwood Complex (1300 East, just a little north of 4500 South)... girls race at 3:00, boys at 3:30

AM: Great run to ease my stir-craziness. 7.25 mile Gully Longer Run.

Good news. My Alta boys won the Region 3 championship - their third in the last four years! The Alta girls ran a strong 3rd to qualify for the state meet on Oct. 22.

Good weather conditions for a throw down?

Yep, about 70 and sunny. Light breeze, no humidity.

Congrats!

Sounds like you have some strong teams, and I am sure your coaching has had something to do with it.

I look forward to hearing about the state results

You're turning out to be quite the girls coach after all! What color headbands did you get them before the race today?

Congrats to both your girls and boys teams! Nice job helping them do their best this year.
