Couldn't sleep last night. Woke up a little after 2 AM, had a cup of coffee and a banana and then went for a run. I was out the door at 3 AM - a nice time to run I must say if you don't like noise or traffic.

17 miles in 2:15.

Maybe I'll try to leave work a little early and nap this afternoon. I'm already sleepy sitting at my desk at  7:50 AM. Good thing I still have $6.00 on the Starbucks gift card in my wallet.

I hope all of you in Boston have/had a safe trip home and that you hearts aren't too heavy.

I can't wrap my mind around this either. It just makes no sense. How many races have my kids waited at the finish line...

Are you saying you ran 17 miles at 3am? That's insane, Rob.

A little bit weird I admit. Nice run though.

I know, the boy was just waiting for his dad enjoying the day off of school. Sucks!

Thats what keeps getting at me too... the number of races that the kids and Lisa have waited for me at the finish line. I'll be starting my assault on Boston '14 this evening.

I agree Doug. Seems like the only thing we can do to make a small statement.

Let me know if you need some training advice. Or you could just look at what Jake Krong does and do that every day.

Thanks, Rob - I'll drop you an email this evening. It will be a challenge for me since I lack a BQ, but I was looking for my next challenge anyway.
