Busy vacation day so, no running.

Got up early and headed out the Clearwater Beach to see Winter the No-Tailed Dolphin. Spent a ridiculous amount of money there which made me sad because I remember the place before it was a tourist trap.

Then had lucch at Frenchy's on Clearwater Beach. It was $4.95 burger Monday so that was good.

Then we spent a couple hours swimming at Clearwater Beach. Abby and Andy had tons of fun and got a little sun burned.

Went for a long family walk around Dunedin in the afternoon. Walked out onto the new pier and watched some guys fish. Then we ended up at Tony's Pizza in downtown Dunedin for dinner. Met my mom there and she drove the kids home while Ann and I walked home via Flanagans Irish Pub.

Back at moms house having a Winter the Dolphin film festival.

I had to endure the marine science center tour with a family visitor last year. You can take a ferry ride to the museum in the old Maas Brothers / Civic Center building - which is again more stuff to sell about the movie(s). But the ferry ride is nice.

Hope you had a cup of the "she-crab" soup to compensate for the likely terrible and expensive burger at Frenchy's.

Not sure when you head home, but there is a group that meets on Saturday mornings in downtown Clearwater in front of City Hall at 6 am for long runs. The route goes across to the Beach and then north over the bridge to Sand Key and back to the mainland over the Bellair Bridge. Its a 13 mile loop with some variations to add distance. Generally someone will show up of reasonable caliber to run along with you.

Thanks for the tip Bret. We head home EARLY on Thursday though.

Sheets of rain all day today, no letup. No run. Went to see Unbroken and read most of the day.

Was Unbroken worth the price of admission? Been looking forward to seeing it.

Since my mom gave me a gift card, it was definitely worth the price Steve.

Good movie I thought.
