I had some success in high school and college.
Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Have fun, not get fat, stay fit.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running in some fashion.
I teach AP U.S. History and other courses at Alta High School. I also coach the track and cross country teams at Alta.

AM: Church Fork to the Summit of Grandeur Peak. If every day was like today we wouldn't need a Running Up For Air. Absolutely beautiful.
3 miles up in 1:02 (2,560 foot gain)
3 miles down in 35:18
So if you are doing 12 hours of running - we will expect at least 48 miles or more on Saturday?
I'm thinking I'll run a lap, eat a lot, nap some, and maybe just complete two laps.
