I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

6 X 1 mile on the treadmill with 1/4 mile jog recovery. Started at 6:30 and worked down to 6 minutes.

Another day of pristine, crystal clear air today in the Salt Lake Valley. This is the longest stretch of inversion (smog) free air I can remember. It must have been that march for clean air back in January that did it. Sometimes a good march is all that's needed.

The inversion actually did break for good about 3 days after that rally. Kind of funny.

Seems like (at least in my long tenure of 4 winters here) it usually sucks in December and January, and then its over. But 8 weeks is still a pretty long time of gross air.
