I had a great run today with Jon Kotter, one of my former runners at Alta who now runs for BYU. Jon is a 28:48 10k guy on the track, so I felt really self conscious about my pathetic pace the entire run. But I'm glad he humored me.

We ended up running 15.5 miles in 1:58:22 (7:38). We meandered up through the University of Utah campus, down along the D-News 10k route into downtown, through the Gateway and then back to my house via Liberty Park.

According to my Garmin I burned 1,777 calories. How many pieces of pumpkin pie is that?

That's a very cool tradition you have Rob to run with such an accomplished runner that you once coached. Glad you had a nice run today. You can have my slice of pie.

1 extra piece of pie and an extra brew...at least! Actually, go wild it is a fun day to get cozy and fat and happy!

Nice run, and thanksf or the thanksgiving wishes. It is definitely interesting celebrating such a big holiday in a country where nobody does. Keep up the good running!

Enough...I hope you indulged. That sounded like a great and very enjoyable run yesterday.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, Rob.

Best,

Wesley
