I got up this morning at 4 am and drove down to Bryce Canyon. Ran from Fairyland Point to Sunrise and back and then a smidgen on the Rim trail. 9:10 pace with lots of climbing. Then I drove back home. So 9 hours of driving and 2 hours of running.

My throat is sore because I sang a lot in the car both ways.

How are snow conditions in Bryce Canyon around Thanksgiving?

I'm sure your legs felt great once you got home.

Vis - A little Chuck Prophet, a little Sturgill Simpson, and lots of old R.E.M. as you might expect.

DD - Perfect day today and just a couple patches of snow.

I guess I shouldn't whine about driving 20 minutes to run then, huh?

I would say one of your best, recent posts. That last line caught me by surprise.

Sounds like a great day. Have a happy thanksgiving.
