Five miles of elipricalling. Pretty hard with lots of elliptical sprinting.

I spent the entire day in class today teaching about Tecumseh, the early 19th century Shawnee chief who succeeded briefly in slowing American expansion in Ohio. Tecumseh is my current favorite historical figure. Every now and then I'll get a new historical obsession and my students get to benefit (or pay the price?) for this.

My favorite new historical figure is Obama! :)

Sorry, I really didn't want to start a political war, I just couldn't resist.

Tecumseh Valley is one of my favorite Townes Van Zandt songs even though I don't think it has anything to do with the Chief.

Way to go with the elliptical sprinting! May need to try that...
