Here's to the memory of Atlanta's 688 Club. A place where I spent a lot of time back in the 80s.

I was reminded of it by my current quantcast number - 688.

It dropped down to 678 in the last 10 minutes.

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

i walk past that building every day. it's an urgent care center now. i took a drug test there last october.

The old use for the building was better. It was a great club that attracted lots of great bands. We would drive the 2.5 hours to Atlanta, watch the show, sleep in our car, and drive back the next day.

We might be able to make it up there Monday morning, depending on whether we can sufficiently wear out the Roo dog over the weekend.

That would be great Jake. We're staying up there Sunday night. Can't guarantee how many runners will show up, but Abby definitely will.

How come my quantcast is not available?

From Rob Murphy on Fri, Sep 04, 2015 at 20:29:35 from 24.10.247.181

Well, it's at least 1 Jon because I check your blog every day (almost).

From Jason D on Fri, Sep 04, 2015 at 20:31:59 from 68.80.27.222

Jon: For some reason in the last two years it stops tracking. I don't know the reason behind it but it has happened to me at least 2-3 times (mine is currently unavailable).

You can click on the button and there should be a place to click "request access." Mine isn't showing that any more, however.

Quantcast says on 21 FRB pages include it anymore. Seems to be the most popular ones.
