Once again, five easy miles with my team at 6 AM.

Heading up to Pocatello tonight to run the half tomorrow. I've run 1:17 there the past two years. I'll be thrilled if I can break 1:20 tomorrow.

Good luck on Saturday. Isn't this the one where you got misdirected when you were leading the race?

Ha! No that was the "Just Cuz" Half Marathon - also in Pocatello but a different course. I was going to run 1:13 or 1:14 that day before the wrong turn.

Tomorrow's race is totally legit. Rolling the whole way and just as much uphill as down. Plus at 5500 feet. I've finished second there the past two years. Once to Shadley and last year to some Idaho State xc runner.

Looking forward to seeing you guys! Call me when you leave and we will hook up in Poky. Kami is thinking maybe Ruby Tuesday for dinner instead? Let's see when we get there...I will bring a few brews to keep us relaxed tonight!

You will run well on this very legit course and get some mojo.

Gray Augustus is running the half this year, capable of a 1:13-1:15 on this course if his knee holds up.

Jeff - tell Gray I'm sticking voodoo pins in the knee of a Gray Augustus doll.

I think there's a Ruby Tuesday's coupon in our race packet.
