10.25 hilly trail miles in The Gully. Heavy rains in Sandy last night meant that the sandy portions of the trail were more packed down than usual and, hence, faster. Ran winth my top Sophomore, Kraemer Morton. Always a good sign when a wee lad can hang with me on a 10 miler.

First time I've used "hence" in a blog post.

PM: 8.25 miles on the treadmill.

Went to the eye doctor today and, as I suspected, I'm blind. So, starting next week I'll be sportin some fine new horn rims. Remember the kid in The Sandlot who faked drowning so he could get mouth to mouth from Wendy Peffercorn? That's what they look like.

A fine word - you should endeavor to use it more often - wee lad is a fine turn of a phrase as well.

Oh, good run too.

You should endeavor to use "wee lad" much less though.

I never knew you were such a gym rat!

There are these things called contacts, hence the reason you shouldn't need glasses. Chums and thick frames might be more stylish though.

Gotta love getting old...you may need glasses, but that is too see all the young guys you are passing during your races!

Nice miles! I seriously need to try and get a run in with you.

I think you should blog entirely about things that have nothing to do with running, your comments are that entertaining.
