Hey I've been going on walks instead of runs the past few weeks because they're easy on my achilles. Let me know if can join you for one!

Mr. Murphy,
I read on the internet that this is teacher appreciation week in the USA.
I have never attended any of your classes or sat in on one of your lectures, but I still feel that you have been a good teacher and mentor to me.
I am sure that I am not alone on the blog, but through your blog I feel that you have taught me so much, not only about running, but also the importance of civic responsibility, importance of spending time with family, importance of never-ending learning through reading and continued study. You are a good example and teacher to all of us on the blog. I am sure that one day when I look back on people who have had an influence on my life, you will be one of the people I remember.
Thank you Mr. Murphy and have a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week.

Nicely said, Eva. I echo her sentiment and know via our conversations that you have made a difference in kids lives, both in high school and in their future endeavors.
