A quote from my favorite TV detective of all time, Jim Rockford...

"I try to keep my virtues to a minimum. That way, they're easier to keep track of."

I was able to run in the gully today! 7.5 miles of trail running bliss. I was almost warm at the end.

Saw my old buddy Snoopy on top of his dog house. He looked happy but he's getting old. I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to jump up there. It's been about two years since he barked at me.

My favorite TV detective of all-time is Fox Mulder, from the X-Files. I feel kinda old even mentioning that show... I'm 99% certain Andrea has never even heard of it.

My favorite TV detective would have to be George Frankly from Mathnet. I am almost 99% Jake has never heard of it or say most people.

Trail running bliss. Sounds soooo nice!

"Mathnet" sounds like a website James goes to

Detective Frank Drebin is the best, and the contest isn't even close.

Who are you, and how did you get in here?

I'm a locksmith...and I'm a locksmith.

I appreciate all these comments. I will have more to say about Jim Rockford tomorrow. Meanwhile some of you youngsters could go to youtube and watch some clips. Start with the opening os the show which features a phone answering machine recording of Rockford's voice. When I was a kid I thought that was so cool because my family didn't have an answering machine.

Some of you don't even know what an answering machine is I bet. Ann and I had one until about two years ago.

but do you still have the landline that went with that answering machine? I hope so, because all the cool guys have landlines.
