Went to the doctor today and had my knees x-rayed. I have a grade 2 MCL sprain and a slight MCL tear. No surgery required. Just a fair amount of time and rehab at my age.

It was good to see that I have no sign of arthritis and plenty of cartilage in my knees. Should have many years of happy running once the ligament heals.

I am really glad to hear that you are going to be okay. It is good that your running career is not finished yet. I hope your recovery goes smooth.

Looks like you are going to become a champion rower in the meantime. :)

Glad you got it checked and it is non-surgical. Rest time then you can get back to it.
