I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun, not get fat, stay fit.

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Keep running in some fashion.


I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Attempting the 6 hour RUFA today. Will try for 3 summits of Grandeur Peak.

Ugh! That was a hard one. I should get some new body parts, train, and lose about 10 pounds.

Lots of great people though and the base aid station at Church Fork is the best restaurant in the Wasatch!

I looked up RUFA on the Internet. I looks like it is a little dangerous especially coming down. You must be part mountain goat or something.

I know what you mean about gaining weight. Since I have not been able to do much running in the last year I have gained 8 kg. :(
