8.25 on the treadmill in 60 minutes. Did quite a few minutes at what could almost be described as tempo pace. Exciting.

Then I braved the Highways of Death for the drive home. That was a serious deluging of snow! Didn't like having the little bitty Honda either. It took me one hour to get home from Sandy.

Got home, shoveled snow. Sitting by the fire now with a blanket, refreshing beverage, and an attention starved dog.

It hasn't snowed like this in a long time.

And to think it was shorts weather this morning!

Did you drive to work tis morning because you saw the forecast?

From Jake K on Thu, Jan 10, 2013 at 20:23:02 from 67.177.11.154

Surprisingly no. It was a perfect storm of sorts... Scheduled workout and had to make an airport pockup after work. Nothing like a snow drive with 10,000 idiots on the roads.

Since you guys missed out on Frank's company over the holidays, I was wondering if Abby had any interest in watching bird during my stay at Jake and Andrea's convalescent home beginning next Thursday?

Good running man, good running.
