Set my new Stair Master record. 520 floors in one hour. Why the stair master you ask? Because I can't run everyday without getting injured or achy.

More from Elite Minds...

Expectation dictates performance. Everyone wants to win, but only a few expect to win.

You've got to get rid of the excuses. They are not your friend and not your path to success. Excuses are the damn boogeyman, stalking you, and hiding under the bed so that you pull the covers up over your face.

The worst advice you can give someone who is trying to be sucessful is to be careful. It decreases productivity and risk taking and deters performance.

I just saw that you're reading elite minds. I got a copy to all my runners and am reading it my third time. Awesome stuff. But I have avoided bringing it up because I am sick of Logan copying everything I do with my team and then using it to kick my butt!

"Everyone wants to win, but only a few expect to win." Very true. I've won some races primarily because I was determined to (although I rarely have that determination if I know I didn't put in the training).

I have this book coming because of you. Also, thanks for that core routine you posted the other day.

That's a brutal and humbling core routine isn't it Christie? It's getting easier for me though with doing it 3-4 days/week.

One thing I always tell my runners Jon is that you can't just be confident. You have to earn the right to be confident.
