am: 3 mile walk. I like walking.

pm: 8.5 miles in 1:05. Wrapped up the right foot pretty well so it didn't bother me too much. Only a little soreness from the race yesterday.

We are on the road early tomorrow morning for a family road trip to San Francisco. I'll try to be consistent with my mileage.

Ah yes - Alcatraz here you come! Have a great trip. Oh - about that race yesterday, great job! My second of two marathons ever was interrupted at mile 12 with a 3 minute stop in the medical tent to treat a blister on the back of my heel. They did a great job, but it was trashed again within 5-6 miles and I just hobbled in from there at 3:33 - and I didn't even get my picture with Mickey Mouse!

What happened to your foot?

Steve - I got a pretty good blister the last 3 miles of the race Saturday. Ended up walking a couple times but it hurt just as much to walk.
