Today I ran with my cross country team. We started out at Alta Ski Area and headed up to Albion Basin. There was still a lot of snow over 9000 feet and I turned around when it got too slushy and deep. Probably another week or so until we can make it all the way to the campground and around the loop. But it was a beautiful day and it was nice to be up there.

Iced my achilles in Little Cottonwood Creek after. Cold! It hurt a lot more coming down than it did going up. I plan to do an hour of some type of cross training this afternoon.

pm: went to the gym and did 4 miles on the eliptical ( I think I spell the word "ellipticle" different every time. Because I have no idea how to spell it.).

After the gym I took Andy to Home Depot to get his very own hammer. Christmas in June!

Good Idea. When I was on the thing yesterday I was actually looking around all the stickers and labels for the word so I could finally know how to spell it on my blog. No luck. Maybe the manufacturer is unsure?

Wow! over 9000 feet, that is pretty high up for a run, snow sure sticks around for a while. The kids loved finding snow and playing in it last June in Colorado.
