Spring Break Day 2

1. Woke up and ate some strawberry pancakes that Abby made.

2. Walked the kids to school.

3. Had some more coffee and watched Zero Dark Thirty  with Ann.

4. Went for a run in Sugarhouse Park. Seven easy miles plus 6 X 15 seconds up a steep hill at maximum effort. Bent over and gasping for oxygen after each one.

These hill sprints are hard if you really do them right.

Andy has his 1st and 2nd grade book club tonight for I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic. Abby has her annual  fund raising shake-down of the swim team parents ( a "swim-a-thon") for which I am counting laps.

PM: Walked a couple miles. 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups/crunches.

Those steep hills are killers at our age, especially on the hands. But I do like how fast you come back down in the wheelchair:)

I was curled up in the fetal position after the last one.

You're off to a great spring break. I can't wait for the missing entry after you get hammered at the beach (I guess at the Great Salt Lake / Saltair) and sleep through an entire day.
