Seven miles in The Gully with my good buddy Steve Anderson. Steve was in the neighborhood after dropping of his son Bentley at the LDS church's Missionary Training Center in Provo to prepare to convert all the residents of Nashville Tennessee. Nashville is the HQ of the Southern Baptist Convention so it would be a bit like being a Baptist missionary in Provo.

Last day of school. Year seventeen is in the books. Cross country practice starts on Monday. Can't wait!

He can't even make it far enough east to hit SC, huh?

I think SC would be even more challenging than Tennessee for aN LDS missionary. Steve's son is a bright, engaging, and funny guy though. I think he will do fine. Not that I have a dog in the fight or anything.

Good luck with cross country, Rob. Shape those kids up.

It could be worse. You ever hear the story about the missionary son of a Jehovah's Witness father and atheist mother? He continued knocking on doors but had nothing to say...

We need to talk about CC practice...I think I can manage 1-2 days a week :)

Check out Jun's entry from today (6/7). It looks like the trails and Alta/Snowbird are really melting out fast. I bet the summer road up to Albion Basin will be good to go soon.

Best of luck to Steve's son. If he is anything like his dad I predict half of Nashville will convert by the time he is done.

Congrats on number 17. I would like to run with your young lads one day.
