I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun, not get fat, stay fit.

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Keep running in some fashion.


I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

June 1 - first what I would call comfortable morning run of the year where shorts and short sleeves don't feel cold. Just a nice easy seven past the Blue Plate and around the Foothill loop.

Had a nice walk around the neighborhood with Abby after the run. Might not make it to school technically on time this morning.

Wow, the Blue Plate Diner....does that bring back memories from High School! Soemtimes I miss SLC like crazy.

Hey, I am putting a packet together to get into Ranger Regt. I may be back in the states a little earlier than I thought!

Jon - there are lots of things I miss about Greenville and the South in general.I wouldn't move back though.
