After work I went to the gym mostly because of our 50 mph wind today.

13.25 miles on the treadmill with an interval workout sandwiched in the middle

5 x 1/2 mile in 2:36 (11.5 mph) with a 1/4 mile jog recovery.

Went to Abby's annual swim team swim-a-thon after. She swam 82 laps. Fun team pizza party after. Crazy weather here tonight. Very windy, snowing hard, thunder and lightning. "Thunder Snow" I think they call it.

Yah, the good old thunder snow. I struggled through about 3 miles in a brutal sunny late afternoon with light breezes and just under 70 degree temps. Other than that, I can't touch the swim-a-thon/pizza party - good job!

Allie, you know what the Mayan Calendar is forecasting...never mind.

Rob, what, you didn't brave the 50mph wind? Wind is second only to ice on the "elements that really kill my running buzz" list.

Just try flying in that mess, Rob. Nice run Saturday, BTW.

I'm just amazed you were able to keep track of Abby's 82 laps. :)
