AM: Two mile walk. 125 push-ups, 125 sit-ups.

Had a delicious and nutritious smoothie for breakfast.

PM: Five miles of actual running on the treadmill which is much nicer on my heel than the roads are. Cautiously optimistic but I'm still going to mostly cross train for a couple weeks.

Why don't you get some pool running in? Love that stuff.

I had a 1/2 gallon of chocolate ice cream after dinner. Delicious and not nutritious. Does this mean you'll beat me in San Fran?

I thought it was Moose Tracks? Either way I applaud your efforts.

I am going to San Francisco in December just in case you had any doubts based on my sh**ty performance at Boston and my recent whining on this here blog.

I'll be ready but I'll also be picking your brain for advice along the way.

Glad (for your own sanity, and probably also for your wife) that you got to run! :-)

It was some kind of chocolate ice cream with all kinds of chocolate and peanut butter cups and other stuff mixed in. Thought it was moose tracks, but not sure. Delicious, either way.

Good to hear about SF. Now we just have to convince Jake and a few other FRB-ers to come. I'm not sure Jake knows it's in December.

That's definitely moose tracks. They have an extra chocolately version. I prefer the vanilla base, but both are good.

I know when North Face is... its like a year away, that's why its too far out to think about! :-)
