AM: Five easy miles with my team plus some barefoot striders. Still sore. If I had known that run Saturday was going to wipe me out for three days I probably would have scaled it back some.

Off to my 7:15 AM "Professional Learning Team" meeting. Dilbert would love this,

I picked up a magazine on Ultra Running at Barnes and Noble and it got my interest. It looks kind of exciting especially tackling something as crazy as Badwater. But the cost and the amount of preparation involved seems a little daunting to me. Still, I entertain this thought from time to time..

Maybe when I retire 50-60 years from now:)

I am quite certain that the writer of Dilbert gets his material from my company specifically. In fact my colleague often brings in the daily strips and replaces the names with those of our coworkers and staff.

Your Saturday run just made your legs that much tougher for next time. A few more like that and you will have bomb-proof quads that never get sore.

That's what I'm hoping for Jon. R2R2R in a few weeks and San Francisco in December.
