I fell in love today. With the treadmill at the gym. It's a brand called Woodway and it's truly awesome. I plan to do a longish MP run on it tomorrow. It will be hard to go back to the 24 Hour Fitness POS after this.

Clam chowder for lunch today from the Splash Cafe.Served in these huge bread bowls with the cut out piece for dipping. Yum!

They had Woodway treadmills at my university gym but I didn't like them at all. Not really sure why, but they were just weird.

No good trails out there in sunny CA??

How's the surfing going?

I have been in love with the Woodway tms for quite some time. If you go the the website you will see that these things are not your normal treadmill - one having the capability of going 25 mph with up to 35% incline as well as -5% decline. They used to have demo videos of sprinters using them at high speed with "spotters" standing behind them in case they slipped or misstepped.

The UF campus gym has literally dozens of them which I tend to use when I go to visit if the weather is not cooperative.
