16.25 miles this morning up and down City Creek Canyon and around the Capitol Hill neighborhood some. What a beautiful run! Going up the canyon I turned back at exactly seven miles due to deep snow in the road. I had the canyon mostly to myself early on a Sunday.

I made it a point to run the steepest hills very hard.

Good run, hopefully the beginning of a good week.

I remember doing that run with you on one of my visits - nice weekend for you Rob.

I was thinking of that on the way up Bret.

Nice mileage. That run never gets old for me.

I agree Steve. Sometimes when I'm running it I'll double back just so I can experience a particularly beautiful stretch again.

Hey Rob- hoping for some advice for you, as you're always talking about the importance of speedwork. I'm training for a flat, fast 14k trail race in 10 weeks and I actually want to focus on it with some good speedwork. What would you recommend for workouts?

How did you find that thread on Sasha's blog? Man, that was some fun stuff.
