12.25 miles in 1:30 (7:21 pace) around the wood chip path in Liberty Park. I drove to Liberty because I wanted to avoid hills today, both up and down. I just wanted to get in some decent miles at a steady pace without too much impact.

Hot. 91 at the end of the run. I was looking back over some of my entries from March and April and I can't believe how much complaining I was doing about the weather. 35 with some light snow sounds like heaven now!

Hey if we cannot complain about the weather, what's left?

Nice work this week Rob - logged some good miles.

that's funny because i was recently looking over some spring entries as well and i am SO glad that it is no longer cold and snowy. i love utah in the summer and i hate it in the winter.

anyway, nice run on the wood chips. liberty park is a great place to run.

Thanks Bret, although I noticed I'm still a couple miles behind you for the week.

Allie, I start to get tired and cranky in August and I look foreward to the end of the racing season. I'm going to do the Minuteman 5k, The Pocatello Half, and the Alta Peruvian 8k Drop off the Cliff, and call it a year. I'm always fresh, optimistic, and pain-free in the Spring. That and the fact that I hate hot weather! One of the main reasons I no longer live in Florida where I grew up.

Hey Rob, yeah part of the issue was we were gone from the FOB for a few days. We were in the helping/searching efforts for the two Navy Sailors. Otherwise we have some decent down time, harder for the PL of course, but I just need to stop feeling lazy when I do have some down time!
