I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun, not get fat, stay fit.

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Keep running in some fashion.


I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

10 miles in 1:18 in the gully. Another beautiful day. I always classify gully miles as "easy", but I always feel like I've accomplished something when I run in there.

Jake is out running with my cross country team now. After practice I'll be heading to Abby's swim meat up at the Draper pool.

That's because it's like running through a foot of quicksand in some places. Easy on the impact side of the coin though. I really need to do some more running there that's for sure..

Yeah I think the bonus is working all of the lower extremity stabilizer muscles... You know, the ones you never think about until you're in a xc race, or mile 22 of a marathon.
