I ran off the poorly marked course and ran an extra .8 miles. Would have finished 3rd if not for that. By the time I got back to the course I was somewhere between 15th and 20th place. I was in a foul mood and mostly jogging but perked up when I started passing people.

The course was challenging. Hilly with lots of washboardy dirt roads.

Still won my age group and they had a great post-race BBQ with free beer. Enjoyed talking to some great people at the finish and they have a lot of pride in this small town race.

Sounds like a repeat of Just 'Cuz from a few years ago. Great job getting the job done and running two half's so close together.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

That is a helluva recovery after running off course. Very impressive, Rob, and sounds like a great post-race vibe.

It's tough to get focused after going off course. Nice work. Sign me up for that post-race party!

Great result, old legs still have zip!
