The race was really 9.7 miles.

Course is hilly with some fairly technical/rocky sections. Splits were 7:36, 8:56, 8:10, 7:55, 7:51, 8:22, 7:53, 7:46, 7:35, 4:34. I really liked the course and was actually having such a good time that I didn't want the race to end.

Albert Wint is apparently 41 now. I think of him as in his 20s still. Anyway, Albert finished 2nd over all which bumped me up to first master and a $40.00 gift card to Salt Lake Running which was cool.

Good job- top masters.

Have you ever considered the Mid Mountain marathon (if they still do it)? Great race on the trails there.

I've considered it Jon but in the past it's been a hard one for me because it's on a Saturday in the fall and it usually conflicted with a cross country meet. This year it's a virtual race again and I don't do virtual races. Seemslike another word for time trial that you pay for.

Oh yeah, that cross country conflict is hard to get around.

That's lame about the virtual race. I've never done any of those- I know the RD's are trying to stay in business, but those are not races.
